Accessibility statement
Last updated: 6 August 2026
Ad-Elay is committed to letting anyone choose a provider, book a treatment at home, and talk to that provider — regardless of disability, assistive technology, or how they use their device. This page sets out what we have done, what is still open, and how to reach us.
The standard we work to
The website and the app are built to the Israeli standard IS 5568, which is based on WCAG 2.1 at conformance level AA, and to the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Accessibility Adjustments to Service) Regulations, 5773-2013. On mobile we additionally rely on the platforms' own accessibility APIs — VoiceOver on iOS and TalkBack on Android.
What we have done
Accessibility is built into the page itself, not bolted on through the toolbar:
- A skip-to-content link, reachable with the first Tab press on every page.
- Full keyboard navigation with a visible focus indicator, and focus trapping in dialogs that close on Escape.
- At least 4.5:1 contrast for body text — including the brand green and orange, which have dedicated text-safe variants.
- A label on every form field, errors announced to screen readers, and invalid fields marked as such.
- The operating system's reduce-motion setting is honoured across animation and scrolling.
- Full Hebrew and right-to-left support, including in screen readers.
- Text sized in relative units, so the browser's own text-size setting works across the whole site.
The accessibility toolbar
An accessibility button sits in the corner of every page and opens a toolbar. Your choices are stored on your device and persist across pages and visits. It offers:
- Larger text — up to 150%.
- High contrast.
- Grayscale.
- Highlighted links and buttons.
- A readable font with unambiguous letterforms.
- Stop animations.
- A large mouse cursor.
- A reading ruler that follows the pointer.
- Increased line, word and letter spacing.
We want to be explicit about this: the toolbar is an addition, not a substitute. The site is built to be accessible with none of these options switched on.
What is still open
Accessibility is ongoing work. These are the parts we know are not yet complete:
- Portfolios are made of photos providers upload themselves, and do not always carry an equivalent text description.
- The chat widget is partly supplied by a third party, and we do not fully control how it behaves with assistive technology.
- The time-window picker is laid out as a grid of hours. It is keyboard accessible, but we are still improving how screen readers announce a change of date.
Found a problem?
If you hit a page, screen or action you could not use, we want to hear about it. A short description of what you were trying to do, on which page, and with which assistive technology helps us fix it faster.
We aim to respond to every accessibility report within two business days.
